Jana Schmidt

Jana Schmidt is the Director of Education and Outreach at The Hill Country Science Mill, a regional non-profit science center located in Johnson City, Texas. Mrs. Schmidt, a certified Texas secondary educator, also served as adjunct faculty at Austin Community College (ACC) in Austin, Texas. Ms. Schmidt has been designated as a Master Teacher for the nationally recognized STEM education program, “Project Lead The Way” and is a recipient of the 3M Society of Manufacturing Engineers Building the Future Award for Excellence in Engineering Education. Mrs. Schmidt holds a Bachelors degree from Texas State University and is an Autodesk Certified Instructor.
